For sheer brute force ad-blocking, uBlock Origin is the best. To add a bit more, Twitch has a "Video Stats" option when watching a stream that shows the frames per second, bitrate, skipped frames, etc. Twitch Adblock blocks ads on Twitch by switching to an ad-free version of the stream at 480p during the ad-time and automatically switches back to the original video quality after the ad-time is over. It does still show that there are X number of people I'm following live, even though it's not signed in so I'm sure that's just more of a visual bug than anything. If anyone knows a way to sign-out of the Twitch sidebar, I'd appreciate those steps (I'm probably just missing something painfully obvious).Įdit: I was able to "sign out" of the sidebar by removing my OperaGX connection in my twitch connection settings. ![]() Their sidebar for GX also has a Twitch addon, which I'm attempting to sign out of but I literally see no way or option of doing that. This isn't happening in Firefox Quantum or Chrome, and I've tried disabling the only extension I'm using in Opera which is their built in Opera adblock and still no luck.
